A Block Pattern With Real Depth

The Blocks Abstract Rug by Catherine Lansfield takes a simple concept and gives it genuine tactile quality. Rectangular blocks are filled with directional stripes, arranged in a graphic alternating pattern across the surface.

What separates the Blocks from a printed design is the hand carved pile: the pattern is cut into the polypropylene construction rather than printed onto it, creating a surface that has shadow and dimension you can actually feel underfoot. The design is bold from across the room and reveals its three-dimensional quality up close.

Built for Rooms That Get Used

High density machine woven polypropylene gives the Blocks Abstract its durability credentials: stain resistant, and resilient enough for bedrooms and living rooms that see daily foot traffic.

The 1cm pile holds its carved definition through regular use, so the geometric pattern stays crisp rather than blurring with time. Available in 3 sizes to suit accent areas and larger room arrangements alike.

Five Colourways

Black and white is the highest-contrast option, delivering a bold graphic anchor for Contemporary and Minimalist rooms. Ice-blue and cream has a lighter, airier quality suited to Scandi and Coastal schemes alongside pale oak and white walls.

Soft sage-green and cream brings a natural, calming character ideal for Biophilic and Japandi interiors. Grey (available in both a lighter silver and a deeper charcoal tone) is the most adaptable combination, bridging warm and cool room schemes with ease.

Warm taupe-natural and cream suits Modern Farmhouse, Coastal and Japandi interiors where the floor needs warmth rather than graphic contrast.
